Here's the rules for this particular game of Tag - Post these rules on your blog and complete the following list: Three joys; three fears; three goals; three current obsessions/collections; and three random or surprising facts about yourself. Tag five people at the end of your post by leaving their names. Let them know they are tagged by leaving them a comment on their blog. And by all means, HAVE FUN!
I. Three Happy Things (plus one)
1. Having all the fam hang out - especially when we play Scene It on the XBox (I almost always win!)
2. The sound of little kids laughing never gets old.
3. Playing with all the dogs - my two oldies and my silly granddog.
4. Embarrassing my kids when I laugh uncontrollably (this usually happens when I'm with my younger sister, Vickie)
II. Three Scary Things
1. Birds - They will peck your eyes out! Don't believe me, watch The Birds movie by Alfred Hitchcock. Downright horrifying.
2. Snakes - No explanation needed.
3. Clowns - Yet another reason to avoid the circus.
III. Three Obsessions
1. Teaching the 4-6 year olds every Sunday morning. Probably should have put this under happy things because I love being with those cuties!
2. Shoes - I know it's so shallow, but a girl needs what a girl loves. Right now, I'm into brightly colored high heels. Can't get enough. This year I've added red, yellow and kelly green high heels and carnation pink sandals. If I was 20 years younger, I'd be all over those crazy tall Jessica Simpson high heels. They look like cartoon shoes. LOVE THEM
3.Purses - Okay, I can't help it, I LOVE handbags. My new fave is a matte gold hobo bag my kids gave me for Mother's Day. It's so cute and I always get compliments when I carry it.
IV. Three Goals
1. Get my house clutter free - I know, it's almost an impossible task because I like stuff!
2. Learn to let go of things that aggravate me - I can hold a grudge - not a good thing.
3. Buy a king size bed and mattress.
V. Three Facts of My Life (plus one)
1. I am sort of obsessed with proper etiquette when it comes to weddings, showers, invitations, thank you notes, etc. People, teach your children how to write thank you notes. Everyone should be able to express gratitude for gifts they receive. By all means, make your children address their own graduation and wedding invitations. HAND WRITTEN, not computer generated. I know, it's weird, but in such a casual world, a little formality is sometimes a good thing. Maybe this should have been under that Obsessions list!
2.I am a cake snob. Wedding and/or shower cake has to have buttercream frosting. I love the traditional white cake, buttercream frosting as long as it is moist. That fondant stuff makes pretty cake, but what's the point if it doesn't taste good? I'm not a place snob - I like a good Reasor's cake almost as much as Ann's Bakery or Merritts, but Wanda's wins hands down for Italian Cream Cake. Mmmmmm
3.I used to be painfully shy - yes, really. My mom told me I would hide behind her until I was four years old so I wouldn't have to talk to anybody. It's safe to say, I outgrew that particular trait!
4. I love pop music from the 60's, 70's, and most of the 80's and will sing out loud in my bad singing voice. Right now, I am crazy for Bon Jovi (went to their OKC concert)"I'm a cowboy. On a steel horse I ride. I'm wanted, dead or alive. . .", Neil Diamond (going to see him in OKC in October) "LA's fine but it's not home. New York's home but it's not mine no more. . .", and Barry Manilow "You know I can't smile without you. . ." I know they sing cheesy songs, but Bon Jovi, let's face it, is eye candy, Neil Diamond has a great voice and how can you not like Barry Manilow?
I think everybody has been tagged already, so it will die with me.

Yea, you did it! You set a blog up all by yourself; I'm impressed. I think maybe Nanny's telling stories, I just can't imagine you ever being an ounce shy!
Well welcome to the bloging world Mrs.Pam! Great tag I am going to have to check out Jessica Simpsons shoe line!
Yay! You're an official blogger now! First, let me start off by saying that I ALWAYS write thank yous for everything! And thank you for spelling it for everyone! Nate had never written a thank you note in his life before we got married! But now he writes them for any gift he gets...whether he wants to or not. :)
Oh, and my mom's birthday was last week, so we ordered a Wanda's Italian Cream cake! Yum!
Casey, you are the queen of thank you notes. I got my thank you note from your shower the very next day. Now, that's prompt!
