My painters discovered a leak in my ceiling in our upstairs family room when they were getting ready to put on the second coat of paint. That was the end of April. Yes, it took that long to find a roofer. The ice storm and the hail storms we have had made it impossible to find a roofer. So my little leak became a faucet every time it rained. We kept a party tub under the leak so at least the floor wouldn't get any damage. But good news! My roofer came today and gave me an estimate. I think I might be the first person to be happy about needing a new roof! Well, not happy, but relieved to finally have some action. Within two weeks, my roofing woes will be history. Hooray! Next thing, new carpeting, bedroom furniture, etc. . . . Ha! Oh, by the way, I love the new paint color. I think it's called "Brown House Beige". It's a very warm, cozy color without making the family room look small.

Bummer! I'm glad it's getting fixed though. Oh and I really like the color you picked out.
Ugh! My parents dealt with that last year with all the rain we had. They were afraid to go on vacation in case it rained!

I hate those kind of problems, but happy that it's finally getting resolved for you! Do you have pictures of the new paint color? Also, thanks for giving me the name of the company for the baby high heels - unfortunately Sadie is too big for them. Maybe next time around if we have another girl I can get my hands on some! Enjoy the new roof and redecorating!!
I do love the color. It's really crappy that the ceiling was ruined after the painters finished. At least it didn't mess up any other rooms. You need to blog about your bathroom reno.
