Go USA Girls!

Our first medals were won by the USA women in sabre fencing. Not just gold, but silver and bronze! Hurray! I've never really watched it before and it was very interesting. Here's a couple of photos of our fabulous fencing team.

Go Team USA! Love the olympics!

Oh, I missed those two events for the women. I love the Olympics! That performance art and dance piece with the calligraphy the Chinese did during the Opening Ceremonies was amazing.

I don't usually watch the Olympics, but for some reason, Nate LOVES them. His enthusiasm over the olympics reminds me of when he's rooting for his fave football team during a game. Last night, we were watching the men's swimming relay, and USA won. You would have thought that he was a part of the team, the way he was so excited and jumping around and yelling and screaming, "Yeah! That's right! We won. USA won! Take that! We won!". It was really ridiculous.

I like watching the gymnastics! I wish I had their dedication and determination...just to get into shape, let alone be an Olympian!
