My niece, Chloe, is a junior at Union High School. She also happens to be the cutest varsity cheerleader ever. Okay, so that's just my opinion, but she is pretty, smart and very nice (not necessarily in that order). My sister ended up with an extra ticket, so I got to go and see Chloe cheer. Oh yeah, there was a football game going on too. Union Redskins vs. Jenks Trojans. Those Jenks kids were so rude. They were yelling "Broken Arrow!" before the game because Union lost to Broken Arrow last week by a lot. Yuck. I hate (yes, hate) poor sportsmanship from anybody.
Union dominated the first half, but those Trojans powered back in the second half. They ended up tying the game with two minutes to go and then they went into overtime. Thank goodness it was exciting - I start to lose interest after two quarters go by. The Redskins ended up winning 24-17. Wonder what will happen when Jenks plays Broken Arrow? Hmmm. . . I wish Broken Arrow the best of luck! I think it would be really nice for them to beat Jenks, and I mean that in the nicest way. It was a good game and the cheerleaders were especially good.

There was a bad moon risin' over Union's Tuttle Stadium Friday night.
I think this is a good picture for someone who doesn't know what half the buttons and icons on the camera are supposed to do. I love the inky blue sky.
Getting ready for the 'Skins to come out onto the field. Chloe has the long blonde ponytail and she has her back to the camera, of course!
Chloe cheering. Our seats were not close enough to her to get really good photos of her. These will have to do.

After scoring the first touchdown, the cheerleaders do a cute little dance cheer. Love Chloe's pony tail flying in the air and her long, strong legs.

There was a half time extravaganza. All the squads were out on the field - cheerleaders, pom squad and the Union High Steppers Dance Troupe. Cool. Chloe is a base girl, meaning she's responsible for helping the flyers get in position and catching them.

I don't really like football, but was so happy to see Chloe cheer. She's the baby on my side of the family I love spending time with her. She's beautiful inside out and I think she is just awesome.

Yea Redskins! That's what Jenks gets for being so arrogant! They needed a little slice of humble pie and looks like they got it! You are right... your niece is just beautiful! Love all the cheerleading pics! Looks like she really enjoys cheering : )
