Missing the Boy

The photographer who took Tyler's senior pictures sent us her new ad campaign and guess who's in it? Yep, Tyler. I just love his pictures and am glad he's part of her advertising. If you're looking for a good photographer, check out Lisa's Portrait Studio (http://www.lisasportraitstudio.com/) in Owasso, OK. She's great to work with and takes terrific photos.

We haven't seen much of Tyler since we packed him up and sent him off to Oklahoma State. He is a pledge in the Beta Theta Pi fraternity and it keeps him very busy. He loves it and I'm thrilled. Thought he was coming home last weekend, but he had to practice for Freshman Follies. Their fraternity made it into the show so he was excited. He had to try out and he sang a song ("After Today") from the "Goofy" movie. Who knows what they will perform at the Follies. Can't wait. Every girl loves a manly singing/dancing fool. Think Gene Kelly if you're of a certain age, Patrick Swayze or John Travolta if you're in my age category (middle age with an immature attitude) or if you're really young, Zac Ephron! Ty never ceases to surprise me. I am very proud of him. Who knew he would be so comfortable at school? Dad's Day is this Saturday so Steve is going down to see him. I love our cute little cowboy!

I am glad he is enjoying his freshman year at OSU. I think it's funny that he's singing the song from the Goofy movie. I shouldn't be surprised though, he comes from such a Disney-loving family! :)

Pam - don't know what i was thinking, it wasn't an emu, it was a llama!! :) You don't have to wonder how I got those 2 animals mixed up since they look so much alike!! I'm such a dork. And, nope, I don't think any petting zoo would ever put an emu in the pin and say "okay kids, go right ahead and pet him". Sorry for the confusion!
