Life is strange. We love our kids, can't wait for them to grow up, can't stand the thought of them growing up, can't wait for them to come home, can't wait till it's time for them to leave, can't stand the quiet, can't stand the noise and chaos, seems whatever situation we're in we sometimes think of the other and then flip flop when it arrives. I know this is going in circles but I remember when my guys went off to school, we enjoyed the peaceful house but missed the sounds of them. Guess it's just one of those things, can't live with them, can't live without them. Thank God for them. Enjoy this time, summer's commin, then you'll enjoy that too. For a time. From one who's been there.
Ahhh...you are soooo sweet! I just wish my house was quiet for a few hours a day. If your house gets too quiet for you I have two great noise makers at mine you can borrow at any time. :)
I am a 49 year old mom and G-Ma with two grown up kids: Ashlee and Tyler: two geriatric dogs: Opie and Minnie: one husband: Steve; one son-in-law: Jason; and one granddog: Preston; and one grandie, Eli Scott. Not necessarily listed by order of preference, just numerically.
Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things only hoped for. Epicurus
Among those whom I like or admire, I can find no common denominator, but among those whom I love, I can: all of them make me laugh. W. H. Auden
Love, it has been said, flows downward. The love of parents for their children has always been far more powerful than that of children for their parents; and who among the sons of men ever loved God with a thousandth part of the love which God has manifested to us? Augustus W. Hare

Aww, I miss Tybo, too. I love that picture of you all in your Christmas PJ's.
