Snow (Ice?) Day!

Know what I love about a snow day? EVERYTHING! I went to the grocery store yesterday and bought snacks and drinks and food for dinner, plus a couple of paperbacks to read, so I can be stuck inside for a few days, no problem. It's just me and my little dogs during the day. I don't worry too much about Steve getting home - he's a great driver. Don't have to worry about Ashlee driving - school's out. Tyler walks to all his classes, so no worries there. The only thing that could happen is the electricity could go out. That's not going to happen. I might lose my few remaining trees that didn't succumb to the great ice storm of 12/07. This poor cedar tree lost about 15 feet off the top of it in the last ice storm. It seems to be holding up pretty good so far.
I'm not sure this scraggly little tree is going to make it. He's leaning an awful lot. Stand strong little tree!

Look at that thick coat of ice! The weatherman just said it was a whopping 14 degrees outside. Good times. Maybe I'll stay in my jammies all day, turn the fireplace on, get in the rocking chair and read until I'm sleepy, take a nap......it's good to be me!
