Tyler was the big winner at out egg hunt this year. He found the silver and gold egg. Yes, my sister, my mom and I braved the cold, rainy weather and hid 46 eggs.

After egg hunting, the kids went to the "bank" to make their withdrawals. We were smart this year and just put slips of paper with the egg's value instead of the actual cash. No lost money. Here's Tyler getting his $$.

These are my favorite photos because they show how inept our kids are at hunting eggs. It was so funny and it took them so long (I think the words "excruciating" and "sad" were uttered more than once) to find all the eggs - good thing Jason the Supreme Easter Egg Hunter was at his parent's house. He is our family's best Easter egg finder. Thought I would put one egg in a super easy place:

Finally, after multiple passes by all the kids, Blake sees it. Vick and I were cracking up. 
We had a great Easter day full of super food (the BEST lemon cream pie my sister has ever made and they are always good), fun, laughter, game (singular - we just had time for one Apples to Apples game before the kids had to leave), and just hangin' out. Here's Tyler getting ready to head back to OSU. Miss The Boy already.

That's funny about the sunflower egg. You should hide it there again next year, and see if it still takes them as long to find it.

I had fun hanging out with Alora and Xander, but I'm not going to lie: I missed our annual egg hunt. I'm usually the worst at finding eggs, but I still like trying.
The pictures of everyone walking by the sunflower egg are hilarious. I love Chloe's Easter dress. I'm sad I missed seeing Emily.
That looked like fun. To think, I almost forgot it was Easter yesterday. I suppose it's different when you can spend a holiday with family.
