Looks like I'm getting a new Crock Pot. Score! Is it weird that I'm excited about the possibility of a new Crock Pot?While we are on the subject of cooking, are you guys messy cooks? I seem to get every pot and pan I own dirty, plus 10 or 12 serving dishes. Yeesh. I need a sous chef and/or dishwasher. Don't tell me it would be easier to clean as you go along. Puh-leeze! I'm already dangerous in the kitchen. Last thing I need is something to distract me from the stove. Again, Taco Bueno is a good option. Notice the unbroken Crock Pot lid. Here's what my kitchen looks like on a typical cooking night:
At least I tidied up. Oh, okay, I didn't clean the kitchen until the next morning. Give me a stinkin' break!
This is my favorite dish towel. Only because it's so sad, so true.

Wow! That lid broke into a gazillion pieces. I admire you for cooking as often as you do. I guess I'm just too lazy. I hate hate hate to prepare a new recipe that doesn't go over well and feel like I wasted all that time and ingredients. Therefore, we eat out too much.
Hey look on the bright side you can go out and buy a pretty red crock pot. Yep that is what my kitchen looks like too after I cook and when I get it cleaned up don't want anyone it even though I am the one that messes back up:(

I really don't mind cooking (and yes, I am a messy cook too) but I HATE HATE HATE the clean up!
It's really sad that I stay at home and we eat out as much as we do! I would say that winter will change that cuz I don't like cold, but probably not.

When I actually DO cook, my kitchen looks the same way - and a lot of times I leave it until the next day too! Man, I miss Bueno! I'm with Marilyn, though. I don't cook often and I HATE to try something new just to find out that we don't like it. Waste-of-time! I don't believe that towel describes you at all - you are one heck of a domestic goddess!
