WHATEVER HAPPENED TO GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE?
So, I had made an appointment to get a pedicure for today at 11:00AM at Gina Rigney Salon (Yes, I'm naming names!). This was my first time to go there. I arrive for my appointment ten minutes early like a good client should. 11:00AM comes and goes. . . 11:10AM. . . 11:15AM. . . finally, at 11:20AM I put my magazine down, informed them that I was tired of waiting and out the door I went. Now, I have to go to a wedding tonight and vacation with ugly feet. Grrrrrrrrr. So aggravating. Anything like this ever happen to you cool blogging girls? Let's dish the dirt on poor service.

I have so much I could say on this topic. I am much like your daughter in that respect. When I get bad customer service somewhere, I am notorious for taking the matter straight to the manager and getting it resolved through someone whose decisions make a difference. Last Friday, we went out to lunch for my mom's birthday at Olive Garden in Utica Square. We got the world's worst waiter. His name was Dave (I'm naming names too!). He blew his breath and rolled his eyes everytime we asked for anything (and we didn't ask for much). I was so appalled by his behavior that after the lunch rush, I called over there and spoke with a manager and told them that I have worked in the restaurant industry, and I know that it's not that difficult to behave with a little tact. The manager said that she would speak with Dave, and ended up sending me a $20 gift card. I went back there for lunch (I work across the street from there), and I requested to sit anywhere but Dave's section.
My mom, Shannon, and Nate all hate going with me to eat anywhere, because I have expectations for what a food service person should act like. I've spoken with many a managers in the last few years, and they almost always rectify the situation.
So, all that to say, next time you get horrible service somewhere, you should ask to speak with their supervisor. How else will the problem get fixed?
Oh, and if you ever go to the Olive Garden on 21st, ask to not be seated in Dave's section! :)
Ruh-roh, Raggy. Let's get pedicures in the morn after I drop Pres off to get groomed. I'll find us a place. You won't have the pedi for the wedding, but at least you'll have it on vacay. And, if they give us bad service, I will yell and make a scene.
Well I have had plenty of bad customer service.... The latest one was at IHOP here in Owasso. We sat down to eat and waited (yes we waited) 20 minutes for them to even take our order... And if that wasn't enough, we waited another 30 minutes before we ate. And to top it off our order was all mixed up! You might be wondering why we waited... well I really wanted their banana pancakes:) Not to mention that it was a new restaurant and I figured the wait was because it was busy. Sadly though, the people who got there after us were served before us and left before us.... I too asked for a manager and let's just say our meal was on him. I mean how hard can it be to serve breakfast!!!
Ohh, well you should ask Kina to tell you the Subway story!
It's bad!
Todd and I have had some real winners (we eat out so much, it's bound to happen:0)
The worst though had to be in good old Abq where I was purposely over looked in line because my skin was the wrong color! Twice in two different situations! JUST DO YOUR JOB!
i must say, i've had a bad pedi at gina rigney....so, you were probably saved from the razor blade they aren't supposed to use but do there!
