Family

This is my mom and dad. My mom had surgery to put a shunt in her head to drain excess fluid a few weeks before this photo. They had to shave her head to perform the surgery. Here she is with Ashlee. I can't believe how quickly my mom's hair is growing back and how fast her recovery has been. I think she looks cute with short hair. I told her she need to let it get about an inch long and have a punky pixie cut. We'll see about that. She has a cute shaped head so she looks good. Her head gets cold when she is out and about, so she has several fun hats to wear. She has already been cleared to drive and she can do waaayyyyy more than she could pre-surgery. God is good.

Pam, she does look good with that short crop, she also looks cute in the hat. I'm so thankful she is doing so well, Thank God for the ability he has given the medical profession, but that can only go so far, He is the ultimate healer, I'm glad He's working on her behalf (and yours for that matter). We're glad to be home, can't wait to see you.

I am so glad she is recovering well.
Todd's nephew has had shunts put in at least a couple of times and valves replaced...it's no small deal!
And I do think she has a good looking head...mine however, probably wouldn't look near that nice!
