Quarantined. . .

There's a stomach virus making the rounds and it hit here early this morning. Oh, not me, worse - the spouse.
It's a lovely little bug that compromises the the digestive system. I will spare you the details.
I have remained symptom free. Here's a list of the fallen:
My daughter
My niece
My sister
My brother in law
My niece in law (?)
My spouse
See a pattern? They are all related to me. Could I be like Typhoid Mary? "Pass it on Pam," perhaps?
Any way, I am on the defense. Only eating foods that won't be so bad coming back up - just in case. Staying away from Taco Bueno even though I am in the mood for a chicken fajita platter. Once you throw up a favorite food, it quickly becomes a nonfave. Can't let that happen to Taco Bueno. It's a bland day for me - baked potato for lunch, iced tea. So far so good. Keeping my distance from the spouse and all those skanky germs. I'll keep you updated.

Update: My sister in law's mom has come down with this horrible virus.
Spouse is still down - no new stomach upsets - just tired and weak. I'm still standing.
Update #2: Spouse has been fever free for over 24 hours. Went to work today. Soon as he was out of the house, the sheets were in a clothes washer full of hot, soapy water and the mattress and pillows were sprayed with Lysol. Be gone all of you bad viral germs. I'm still standing.
Ahh... the smell of freshly laundered sheets and blankets. I can now enter my bedroom without worrying about the germs left behind by the sick spouse. I sprayed lysol on all the door handles. I should be safe - for now......I'm still standing.

Oh yeah stomach virus is the worst. I get so freaked out about it. I will walk around the house with my can of lysol just spraying everything. Right now we all have the runny nose/ stuffy nose thing going on. I hope you don't get sick.

Oh no- I hope you don't get it too! Josh and Cooper got it in our family a few weeks ago, but several nephews, uncles, and grandparents got it too. What a YUCKY virus!

You crack me up! The green writing is very appropriate. And it's no joke about throwing up foods you like. I can't eat Cocoa Puffs cereal anymore...sad really. Keep standing, pass-it-on-Pam!!

Bleh! I hate that stuff. I am always the one to get sick - Nate is NEVER sick. He'll get a sniffle here and there, but never anything serious.

Hope you can steer clear of Sicky Steve until it is over. :)
