Treated myself to a little movie action today. Went to see Duplicity starring Clive Owen and Julia Roberts. Five people in the theater this time, I felt crowded! Settled in with my $15.00 worth of popcorn and diet coke and waited for the show. It was okay, not great. To many flashbacks and really, if you've seen one Julia Roberts movie, you've seen them all. She looked good, great clothes. Kind of see everything coming before it happens, but it's entertaining. Clive Owen and Julia Roberts have great onscreen chemistry, so it's a fun movie to watch. Save the dough and rent this one.There were previews for a couple of movies that look interesting. The first being Public Enemies starring Johnny Depp. Yummy. Who doesn't like a bad boy who's so pretty? He, of course, will be playing John Dillinger, the infamous bank robber. Christian Bale is also in this movie, but so what? Johnny Depp is reason enough to see this film.
Next preview that looked promising is Ghosts of Girlfriends Past starring Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Garner. I'm not really a big fan of Jennifer Garner in anything, but the previews of this movie look so good, I'm going to have to see it.
Last, but not least, X-Men Origins - Wolverine. Hugh Jackman. 'Nuff said.
A little tip: no matter how thirsty you are, DO NOT buy the large diet coke. You will only try to drink it all so you don't waste your money and then you have to leave for a bathroom break. Rats.Happy 27th Birthday to my oldest nephew. Who do you think he looks like?
Nascar's own Dale Earnhardt, Jr. I know this only because Steve watches those crazy races all the time and there's a National Guard commercial at the movie house that he appears in with Kid Rock. Kid Rock is singing this song called "Warrior" and the National Guard sponsors Jr.'s race car. Sorry, Katie. I stole Josh's photo from your blog. :)

You need to get a job with the newspaper reviewing movies. When I get home I'd like to go with you. Loved the pics of your trip to Dallas, sorry I didn't comment then but had no internet hook up. Looks like you had a lot of fun and of course you would with Ashlee and Kristen. Hopefully the teachers were able to keep you on good behavior.
I looove your movie reviews and I really want to see that movie too! I will wait to rent. Can't wait to see the one with Mathew in it.
What a cute nephew!! And he totally blows Dale Jr. out of the water ... although oh my goodness, they do look alike!! I'm glad you gave a Duplicity review. I wanted to see that movie, but now I'll wait to rent it. :)

I was wondering how Duplicity was going to be. I'll rent it when it comes out. I like Julie Roberts in just about anything.
And ooooh, Johnny Depp. Love that man. He's so cute (how much of a middle-schooler do I sound like here?). He's dreamy. :)
There's also a romantic comedy with Sandra Bullock coming out soon. It looks kinda cheesy, but I like Sandra, so I'll probably go see it (or rent it).
