Friday Flick

So, I went to the Cinemark theater on 71st street so I could catch this movie before all the tweenagers got out of school. I think it was only $5.00 because I went to the first show of the day. Cool! Well, by the time I bought a diet Coke, Milk Duds and a small popcorn (hey, it was my lunch!) I had hit the $20.00 mark, Worth it, though. Here's a little tip: don't get butter on your popcorn. Instead, dump your Milk Duds in with your popcorn and they soften up but don't melt, at least mine didn't. Yum. Sugar and salty taste all together.
Enough about concessions, let's talk about the movie. Of course, it's totally predictable, but who cares? Matthew Perry is in it and I love him. Miss seeing him on Friends. Love him as Chandler Bing. Don't get your hopes up - he's really not in the movie very much. It is totally the Zac Ephron show and for the love of all things decent, I adore him. He is totally believable as a grown up in a teenager's body. Maybe it's because he's 21 yrs. old in real life. Throw me in with the tweens, I can't help but like the guy. He's just so cute.
Movie is full of funny, awkward moments. I especially love the best friend in this movie. So nerdilicious. I recommend it if you like light, romantic comedies. It is on the juvenile side, but so what? It will almost make you wish you could go back to being 17 again. Well, only if you could be the popular, nice girl who gets to date the boy who looks like Zac Ephron.
I would say this movie is okay for anyone 10-11 years old and up, depending on the child. Any one younger would probably be bored and it's really geared towards teens+. Great date movie and who doesn't need to be reminded not to take their spouses for granted? Go knowing you won't be surprised and just enjoy the show. I did.

Also, if you notice you're not on my blog friends list, it's probably because you haven't commented on my blog or updated in a while, so don't take offense. I'm just trying to update my blog and if I can link to your blog from somewhere else, then you might not see yourself listed. Oh, check out Ashlee's blog - it's been updated...

One last thing: Does this look like Matthew Perry in drag to any one else? Her name is Susan Boyle and she's on Britain's Got Talent show. She has an incredible voice, but she could definitely use some eyebrow shaping.

One last cute Matthew Perry photo. Girls always love a guy who can make them laugh, it's a bonus when they are easy on the eyes. Who else would go see a Friends 2010 movie? It would be fun to see how the characters changed.

Oh my goodness Pam I SOOOOO want to see that movie! Katie and I are going to go together! Also, its painful for me to admit but I kind of want to see the Hannah Montana movie. I know, I know I'm a big dork, but Lily loves watching it on TV and I can't help but watch along!

I am with you. I know that I'll think it is a cute movie even if it is predictable. Sad to say, but I'll watch anything with Zac in it!!!

When are you going to start inviting people to see movies with you? I would have liked to see 17 Again.

Thanks so much for changing the sidebar to an even more flattering sleeping picture. NOT! Ugh.
