This is American Idol...

I love this season. Last night was Disco Night. I have to confess that I love disco. BeeGees, Donna Summer, Saturday Night Fever, Boogie Oogie Oogie, you get the point. I know they are cheezy songs, but I love me some cheese. I was a little disappointed when all the songs were arranged differently, but that's what the judges wanted. Honestly, it was fun to see how disco fever would play out.

The seven singers left are very talented. Here's my top three: That little Kris just keeps surprising me. I thought his arrangement of Donna Summer's "She Works Hard for the Money" was second best of the night. Of course, at this point, I don't think Adam Lambert can be beat. He's just too interesting, too talented. Running a close third for this particular night was Alison Iraheta, singing another Donna Summer hit, "Hot Stuff." I just love her cool voice. So much like Ann and Nancy Wilson of "Heart." I voted for her many, many times last night because I don't want to see her get voted off before Lil, Anoop or Gokey.

Who did not make me happy last night?

Lil Rounds. I loved her in the beginning and now I'm just tired of her.

But the one who irritates me most:Gokey, Go Home!

I don't know why the judges gush over him so much - maybe it's his sad story or his likable personality. I just don't hear what they hear. Shades of Taylor what's-his-face. Pleh. If I could, I would also send Ryan Seacrest home. He grates on my nerves. Also, switch Kara and Paula's seats. Better yet, get rid of Paula and Randy, dawg! Yo, get a new vocabulary, dude. That would be da bomb, then you would really be bringin' it....

Lil and Anoop are my two choices for leaving. We shall see. Thank goodness, I have TIVO.
