After taking my mom and dad out to lunch for Father's Day, we came back home for Steve to open his present. Nice wrapping job, Ash! It's a little action sports video camera that you can attach to your hat when you hunt. The camera is pretty small, so he didn't have a clue about what was in that package. You'll notice Preston had to get in the photo. He loves Steve.
Dogs showing some Father's Day love.
"Happy Father's Day, Geep!"
Steve showing me his present. He's actually watching the golf tournament on t.v. while I'm trying to take his picture. He can zone out super fast if any sporting event happens to be on the tube. See how small that camera is? Huge packaging, small camera.
The card Ty made:
A drawing of 1979 Steve as interpreted by Tyler:
This was extremely funny to Ashlee and me because Tyler can draw most things fairly well, but has always struggled with hands. We teased him all day long and he was a good sport about it. Home made cards are the best.
The fam. Notice that Tyler is actually sitting on Steve's lap. Crazy kid. Preston is walking away because he's not the center of attention.
In honor of Steve, I have actually put a country song on my playlist. He loves George Strait, so there you go. Don't expect it to last too long. Country music is definitely not how I roll. Hope all the dads out there were treated to a great day. VBS here I come!

Ha, Tyler and his card! So funny. Love it.
Looks like a wonderful father's day - cool gift. And I wouldn't expect anything less than great wrapping from you or Ashlee - your gifts always look marvelous. I love the last picture with everyone in it - captured some great expressions!
