OSU Walkaround

Friday was Homecoming Walkaround at OSU, so Ashlee, Jason and I headed to Stilli-town to see the Boy, the sights, and eat some food. The weather was perfect for being outside. The sun was shining, but it was chilly - my favorite kind of day. The theme this year is "Branded for Life".
Emily, Blake, Tyler, Ashlee and Jason in front of the Beta float for the homecoming parade. The Betas have never done a float before and I think this looks great. This is the float in daylight.

Here it is at night.
In front of the Fiji house dec. Good grief! Could our mouths be any bigger?

This house dec was an art theme, so Ashlee liked it a lot.

Ashlee looking awkward because she accidentally touched the paintbrush while she was pretending to paint with it. The paintbrush was motorized so it moved by itself.
I can't believe the detail in these house decs. Love all the timepieces. All the watch hands moved. Cool.

Pistol Pete driving a semi and running over the Missouri Tiger. Can you guess who they are playing tomorrow? Eric and Vickie

I think this was my favorite house dec. The colors were phenomenal.
The fishing guy was motorized and looked like he was getting pulled into the water, the hot air balloon went up and down, the stained glass windows opened, and...

...the panels opened to reveal Bullet. Pretty awesome.

Mmm, roasted corn on the cob.

Ashlee creeping in on the photo and sneaking a bite of corn.

My adorable nephew and my cute sister.

Don't you love it when someone creeps in on your photo? The Boy and I are in front of the Beta float.

Tyler, Blake, and Blake's caramel apple in front of the Beta float. I told them to act like sorority girls when they get their photo taken. Ashlee and Emily mocking the sorority girls who were having their photo taken in front of the float. Silly, cute girls.
A good time was had by all, but it was time to ride off into the sunset. Good night all you little cowpokes.

Very cool! Glad the sun could make it out for your day in Stillwater. I started watching the game tonight, but ADD kicked in and I only saw the first quarter, so I don't know who won, but it started out as a good game. The homecoming decorations look nifty!

I've successfully managed to look positively awful and awkward in all of those pictures.

That was a fun night. I love seeing the house decs! The Beta float was impressive, as well. Thanks for taking me and Jason.

It was so good to see Tyler, Emily, and Blake.

Looks like you had fun. Did you eat a turkey leg? And no, your mouths couldn't be any bigger.

I am totally impressed with those floats. Can't imagine the amount of time it took to put them together and where do they do that? Are they kept inside somewhere to protect from the weather?

Looks like you had a great time. All we ever got to do with our boys at school was go to football games to watch them.

I could hardly see your faces for the mouths and Ashlee is adorable in whatever condition she is in. Oh, and say Hi! to my cousin Judi.
