Okay, I have to admit it, I have Olympic fever. I catch myself checking the television almost all day long for a glimpse of the Olympics. I will even watch something that would usually bore me to tears (water polo). I also have begun to whoop and yell at the tv. So bizarre. If I have to be infected with something, I'm glad it's olympic fever.Look at our president, along with his wife and daughter. Love him, love how he likes sports so much. Makes him seem more like an average guy. I'm proud of the stand he's taking in China concerning human rights and religious freedom.

Here's our women's relay team getting their silver medals. Can't believe Dara Torres is 41. Amazing.
Here's our super-duper, rock solid men's relay team with their GOLD medal. Yay! Love the building they swim in. So beautiful. Love the men swimmers. They are so fun to watch. Must go, I'm sure there's some Olympic coverage on tv I'm missing!

I heard Phelps is one gold medal away from breaking the record for the most number of gold medals won at an Olympic Games. That's awesome!
Also, did you see the opening ceremonies? Did you see that little Chinese girl that sang? They announced on the news this morning that she was lip-synching (sp?) to a song sang by another little girl whose appearance was "not up to par" when it came to TV appearances! Can you believe that?!
I didn't even know fencing was an Olympic sport...or maybe even a sport at all:) but I've been more into this Olympics than I ever have been before...probably b/c I do little more than feed and change a Harper 24/7 these days:)

I am with you Pam!!!! I love the Olympics, and I DVR all the coverage, even the middle of the night. I do fast forward some (like Badminton, how did that get in the Olympics), but I am addicted to the gymnastics, swimming, and beach volleyball.

I hate that the Chinese beat our US girls gymnastics team. I guess they really don't have any excuse not to, though, they live at those gymnast camps from the time they are 3. Oh, well, we have Phelps. I'm not sure he's even human, he's so good.
