College Time

This is Tyler getting ready to head off to the big town of Stillwater, OK. Oklahoma State, here he comes.

Tyler and his cousin, Blake. Blake was a pledge at Beta Theta Pi last year. Tyler is following in his footsteps.

Steve and I are getting ready to leave our baby boy at school. No tears or hysterics - Tyler was comfortable and not freaking out, so it made it a lot easier.

Tyler on his high rise bed. Sounds much better than a bunk bed.

Tyler and Thomas, one of his three roommates. He has the low rise (bottom bunk) bed below Tyler.
Thomas is already learning the "Tyler" way to take a photo. Awesome!

One last look at the boy before we leave. They grow up fast, don't they?

Go 'Pokes, if that's the way you roll. Otherwise, can I get a Boomer Sooner?

The song is "Mamas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys" by Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson. I thought it was appropriate and funny!

I'm glad Tyler had no problems being left at school. I like the picture of him and his roommate doing the Tyler pose. I plan on visiting him soon.

I'm sure it was very helpful for you that Tyler seemed so put together and not upset. I didn't want my mom to leave me in my dorm at OSU, it seemed scarey to be a grown up!! ;)

I hope Tyler has a great experience. I'm sure it was harder for you. It's always hard on the mom. Love the pics!

Go pokes! Where is his frat house? Nate and I lived in some apartments over on Perkins, across the street from Lowes, next to the only movie theater in Stilly. I hope Tyler really enjoys the whole cliched "college experience". Does he know what he is majoring in yet?
BTW, I really love your top in that photo of you three.

Excellent song choice. That really fits since you are such a Sooners fan.
