Good day, Sunshine!

Yep. That's my little sun, uhm, son. He was the Raisin Bran Sun for his fraternity's performance in the Freshman Follies. Those are his two scoops in his hands. Their theme was "Breakfast".

His costume was actually one of the best. Their fraternity had fun cereal costumes.

Get down with your bad self, Mr. Sun. He's definitely two scoops of fun!This is what their entrance looked like. Tyler is behind the Raisin Bran, of course. All the "non cereal" costumes were little kids in footie pajamas.

Tyler in his stage make-up. He still had one more performance to do, so they wouldn't let him take his make-up off. His make-up is light compared to some of the stuff we saw.

We just can't believe Tyler would sing and dance in front of so many people. Who knew? We are so proud of him and had a great time watching all the fraternities/sororities perform. They all worked really hard to entertain the crowd A total of eight groups performed and the themes ranged from breakfast to Mary Poppins, bugs, Gotham villains, puppets, Magic School Bus, Egypt,and Magic Show. I know Tyler is glad it's over. It was a big time commitment for practices, performances, etc. Way to go, girls from Chi Omega and guys from Beta Theta Pi!

Rats! Tyler called last night and they didn't place in the top three but they did win best costumes and most original, so yay for the girls and guys who worked so hard. I think you're number one! Mary Poppins took 1st, puppets 2nd, and Magic School Bus took 3rd. Maybe next year the pledges from Beta can take home top honors.
