TOMORROW! This is the way I operate - several weeks before everyone comes over, I coordinate with the Baskins' side of the family and choose a date for our Christmas. The last couple of years we've done it early so the married youngsters can spend time with their respective families. Date confirmed with all Baskins. Good. Done. Think about it, but get ready for it? Nope.
House vacuumed? No. Furniture polished? No. Bunco presents bought? Yes! I guess one out of three isn't too bad. Oops, forgot about the kitchen. That might be a problem. Oh yeah, I need to buy groceries.
If I keep denying that the house needs to be cleaned will it clean itself?
I would rather take a nap.
Updating the blog is a great stall tactic.
Have a great day, blogger friends.
The mop is calling my name.
I need a new name!

Haha, yes we're all going to be there TOMORROW! You'll get it done. I can't wait for bunco. And I bought Caleb a Santa suit. You can see it on my blog. Yummy.
Love your procrastination tactics. Very similar to my own. I always hope that if I ignore the giant mess that is my house, maybe it will take care of itself (or maybe if it's messy enough for long enough, the hubby will take care of it). LOL. :)
Hee hee! I'm blog-stalling right now myself. We have a dinner party tonight at our house for our staff and I'm just sitting here enjoying the peace and quiet since Sadie is napping. Don't we wish things would just clean themselves so we could have more time to waste looking at everyone's blogs? Enjoy your family. It will be fun whether your house is clean or not. Afterall, you are the fun one too!
Love the blog-stalling...do it often. Im the opposite of a procrastinator...I get my stuff done early and then I have to do it 10 times cause the kids destroy it. Maybe I do need to procrastinate and my stuff will be clean seconds b4 I need it done:)haha
Everything will get done...like always. Food will be great...like always. Get in my belly, bruschetta chicken!
If I get block tests graded, I'll come over and help you. Like you would let me in your kitchen...I never learned to cook!
I'm with you girl, even though we had bad weather and I didn't leave the house for 3 days, I still didn't do the things that really need to be done around here. We have family coming next week so I can still stall for a few more days. You'll get it done, the house will look great and the food will be delish and all will have a good time and when it's all done and over with you will crash from exhaustion. GET R DONE!!
Who cares about a clean house??? That's my new motto!
