Whew!

Well, after cleaning my filthy house and cooking a little, seems like the Baskins' family came and went in a hurry! This is me afterwards - what possessed me to move our bedroom furniture back downstairs? Yeesh! Like I had nothing better to do. Glad Tyler was home to help carry that stuff down our steep stairs. The way I get ready for company makes no sense. At least most of the house looked good. Hey, I actually have eyelashes and eyeballs (you can even tell that my irises are brown in the center and green-brown around the outside) in this photo. Maybe I should make this weird, tired face all the time.

This is really how I felt (and no, I didn't wear a tank top for company - I changed into pajamas after everyone left). I had a great time and I think everybody else did too. Food was eaten, presents were opened, bunco was played, prizes were given out, and everyone took home a little treat bag. See, normal face, no eyelashes, squinty eyes. At least my makeup was looking good. A little paint and LOTS of spackle (it's all about the prep work) on an old barn never hurts anything.

Have I mentioned the grandnephew yet? Oh well, let's talk! Here's Steve holding the beautiful little Santa baby. He is wonderful and I can't quite get enough of him. I got to hold him while everyone played bunco. Score!

Here's my baby holding the baby. Ooowee! Now, that's a photo that makes me smile every time I look at it. They are both so cute. I know, you're thinking I shouldn't go on and on about how cute my family members are, but it's not bragging or being prideful if it's the truth. Look at them!

Here's the annual cousin pyramid. Look at that cute topper! It's (from left) Caleb, Noah, Katie, Ashlee, Ridge, Tyler, Josh, Andrew and Jason. Bryce isn't in the pyramid photo because he's in boot camp (Marines) in California. We missed him.
The only thing better than the cousin pyramid is the falling cousin pyramid. Caleb is flying high!
Sometimes the falling part gets a little scary! Well, what are you going to do with boys? You'll notice the girls clear out pretty quickly!

Hope your Christmas is as merry and wonderful as ours!

I just wanted to thank you for everything you do for our children it takes speical people and you are one of them! I have learned by coaching Cheerleading this year that is you can teach children so much. Most just want to sit on the sides and complain there are not alot out there willing. But I find teaching Sunday school and coaching rewarding and I love those kids.
Again THANK YOU...
Oh go look at my abuse header. Don't show Steve or I will have to hear all about it...LOL
Merry Christmas
