You might be a redneck...

I decided to clean all my stuff out of this "sort of office" room and hang some art that I normally wouldn't choose so that Steve could have his own space. What started out as a simple reading room for the man has morphed into this reading, safe keeping, fishing pole propping, dead animal head room. Yeesh. I keep telling myself it's okay, it's only one room, but Tracy the wonder buck (named after Steve's friend who owns the cabin with him) gives me dirty looks every time I pass by this room. Do I have to walk by this room? Oh, yes. It's to the right as you answer the front door, adjacent to my bedroom, across from the dining room. It's FREAKIN' me out, man! The sister-in-law suggested camo or hunter orange curtains over the french doors to keep the room under wraps. It's actually starting to sound like a great idea....

I used to be king of the forest - Run, Bambi, Run!

Tracy is just waiting for the night - you know all stuffed animals come to life at night. He tried to gore me several times while he was being attached to the wall.

So this was a gift to the Boy (Tyler) when he was still a Sooner. Ashlee had her friend get all the signatures from the Rose Bowl Champs - oh, Bobby Stoops, what has happened to your Sooners? Anywhoo, Steve has kind of adopted this ball. He also has one that has all the signatures of all the OU Heisman winners except for Sam Bradford, courtesy of yours truly.

Black silk dupioni curtains - manly yes, but I like them too.

Thanks for not mentioning who scored that autographed football pictured with the entire team of Sooner signatures, including Jason White. I'll get over it.

I'm happy that you gave Dad his own space. I am cracking up at Tracy the deer. Where is the bass? Shouldn't he be hanging in their, too?

Alas, the bass was tossed by its owner. Nothing under 10 lbs. will do.

Okay, Ashlee. Credit given to you for the OU ball.

I love how you always have music to match your posts. It would take me forever to figure out what went with every post. I'm kinda glad Brian's not into hunting and stuff. Otherwise, I'd have a room like that to my right when I answer my front door too! You should get some sort of award for allowing all that!

You crack me up and I too love how you put the music to your post.

I better not invite you over I have one that will greet you as you walk in the front door. I am ok with it but I am not ok with the black bear rug Jeff thinks he is going to put in the bedroom.

At Christmas time, you could string Christmas lights on the antlers. SUPER redneck!

Love the curtains.
