Your Momma

Brace yourself - I posted tons of photos. Saturday we celebrated Mother's Day at the Baskins' house for my Mom, Dad, Vickie, Chloe, Blake, Ashlee, Jason and Tyler. Eric had a meeting so he couldn't come-sorry, Eric. Steve grilled hamburgers and hot dogs and here's what I did: Jalapeno/Raspberry dip over cream cheese. You can tell my fam loves this stuff. That's Ashlee dipping into it.
Homemade Salsa (you have to try the new "hint of jalapeno Tostitos Scoops." Delicious!Hash Brown Casserole Cowboy Beans that are better than my regular baked beans (my sister was calling them bean dip and helping herself to a chipful before we ate)
Yum. Cheeseburger.Black Russian Cake My sister always likes to throw a peace sign if you're taking her photo. Do you think my Dad looks like Dick Cheney?Family love, Preston style.
A professional portrait of the great granddog taken by Ervin Photography.Clothes from Vick's fam. That's my "oh-so-pretty black and white wrapping paper with a great bow" present for my mom.Purse from Pam's family.Preston sneaking up onto Nanny's lap. He's so subtle. He's got Nanny right where he wants her.Now it's Chloe's turn. My retro looking card from the kids. The kids (Ashlee, Jason & Tyler) gave me a super cute owl necklace. Whoooooo thinks he's so awesome? Preston does, especially when he's wearing my "bling".I love Surcee - they have such fun stuff. Blake had to be in Stillwater part of the day, but we managed to save a little food for him. All dogs lead to Papa.
What happens after you eat a huge lunch?......
Like Steve's new glasses? Can hardly tell he has them on. Much better than the old cracked lenses he was wearing. My Mom and I were the only ones who didn't go down for a nap. After their rest, the kids and I played "SceneIt". I lost to Ashlee the first game, but roared back in the second game to beat Jason. It was fun. Happy Mother's Day. Hope your family treated you like the queen you are.

Oh, by the way, I was lucky enough to babysit Caleb Monday. I only took a photo of sleeping Caleb because we were too busy playing for any more pictures.

Looks like you had a great Mother's Day. I've never seen a chocolate Russian cake, did you make it? Loved all the pics of the sleeping family. That probably would have happened at our house but there were too many little ones to play with and watch after. We had a fantastic day. I hope to post pics later.
