And the winner is...

just about everyone. I don't tune into the Oscars for the awards, just the clothes and jewelry. Here are my faves:

Hugh Jackman did a great job hosting. He also looks terrific in a tux and can sing and dance. Gotta love the man.Best presenters: Tina Fey and Steve Martin. While he was doing his little spiel, she was looking up at him, he stops speaking, turns to her and says: "DON'T fall in love with me!" So funny. Love Steve Martin and this might be the best Tina Fey has ever looked.
Marisa Tomei was perfection in this beautiful dress.
Susan Downey wins the best accessory award. Look what she's holding in her hand-she has Ironman. Who knew iron was the new metallic? Love her dress color and the draping in the front. They look like they are having a great time together.
Love the dresses, love the jewelry, love the soft hair styles. Viola Davis and Taraji P. Henson were fab. And the necklace - wow. Love that little pop of color the red bag provides. Wonder what her shoes looked like?
Meryl, Meryl, Meryl. You could have done better, but you still look good. Sophia Loren - don't love the dress, but you are still gorgeous. In your 70's and still making heads turn.
Amy Adams' dress was so perfect and that necklace - man! Wonder how heavy it was? This dress was beautiful from all angles. Loved it.
Alicia Keyes - beautiful woman, beautiful dress.
Love Anne Hathaway and she wore a gorgeous gown for her tiny, long body.
Kate Winslet or Grace Kelly? Very old style Hollywood glamour. Love it. She was flawless.
Hooray for Miley Cyrus! She wore a wonderfully age appropriate dress that was spectacular. A lot of critics said she looked like a Christmas tree. I can see that, but she still looked great. They did a closeup shot of the beading on this dress. Killer beautiful.
Queen Latifah rocks an electric blue and black frock.
Unfortunately, Reese Witherspoon wilts in her blue and black dress. Maybe it's the super dark eye makeup or the wan hair. Girl usually looks so great, but she was one of my least faves this year.
Beyonce also falls in my least fave category in this 80's leftover...
but more than redeems herself when she's paired with Hugh Jackman. And her shoes are so hot, they're wicked!

Does anyone else think Taraji looks like a young Eartha Kitt? So beautiful!

Blake, that is right on the money. I think Taraji is purrrfect!

You would love that red dress on Amy Adams. I thought it blended into the red carpet a little too much. The necklace was a good choice with the structure of the dress, though.

Kate Winslet just keeps getting better. Too bad that Christina song is a little raunchy; it would be perfect for your playlist.

Beyonce looks like she got desperate and made her dress from a cheap Chinese hotel curtain. Diva is a female version of a hustler...another fun, guilty pleasure song.

I recorded the Oscars last night because I love to watch the host perform all the little ats. I was NOT disappointed this year. My fav was the musical sequence!!! If I could live my life as a musical I would!!!

That's one of the reasons I like you so much - life would be better if it were a musical. Now what would I choose? Probably "Hairspray" - wouldn't have to lose any weight to play Tracy, but I would have to find some rhythm somewhere!

Man, I missed the Oscars. I was out of town. I love seeing all of the hits and misses on the Red Carpet.
I agree with Ash about Beyonce's cheap Chinese hotel curtain. Very 80's-Barbie-goes-to-the-Oscars. Yeck!
